KUCHING: A group of 15 needy (asnaf) and one person with disabilities (PWD) from Kampung Nombor 3 received donations from Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki in conjunction with Program Jelajah dan Ihsan Ramadhan.
Ibrahim presented the donation after performing Isyak and Terawih prayers with the villagers on Tuesday evening (March 28).
He also presented a contribution to deputy chairman of Surau Darul Uyuun, Kampung Nombor 3 to finance programmes organised by the Surau committee.
Meanwhile, the Program Jelajah dan Ihsan Ramadhan is aimed at helping the needy and easing their burden.
Also present were chairman of the religious bureau of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok branch Hilmy Othman, head of PBB Women Satok branch Salina Salleh and head of PBB Youth Satok branch Mohamad Akram Mohamad Karim.
