KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan recently visited the Malaysia Grand Bazaar and Lalaport under the Urban Development Agency (UDA) in Kuala Lumpur.

The Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) in its news report said the visit is to seek collaboration between the Ministry of International Trade, Industry, and Investment and UDA to help Sarawak entrepreneurs promote and market their products in Peninsular Malaysia and international markets.

Awang Tengah, who is also International Trade, Industry, and Investment Minister, was briefed on the main functions of UDA in real estate development and asset management and took the opportunity to visit Sarawakian entrepreneurs operating at the Malaysia Grand Bazaar and Lalaport.

The two premises are under the management of UDA, which is an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development that provides business space for entrepreneurs, especially Bumiputera entrepreneurs.

Also present was Ministry of International Trade, Industry, and Investment advisor Datuk Naroden Majais.
