POPULAR actor-comedian Zizan Razak is both excited and nervous to have his directorial debut finally released on television.
The 39-year-old “Polis Evo” star, who co-helmed the new telemovie “Heistdilfitri” with comedian Issey Fazlisham, stated that he still had a lot more to learn when it came to directing.
“As someone new sitting in the director’s chair, I am inspired by the great directors in this country, and I think I still have a lot to learn to be able to reach their levels.
However, I am sure that I can achieve that through hard work,” he said.
Speaking of working with Issey, Zizan said that the chemistry between them had enabled the project to be completed in such a short time.
“InsyaAllah, if there are more directing projects coming my way in the future, I will surely work with Issey again,” he added.
“Heistdilfitri”, which was released on the second day of Eid on ASTRO Ria, tells the story of three professional robbers who plan to find a family to celebrate Eid with them.
The movie, in which Zizan and Issey also star, co-stars Shiqin Kamal, Khir Rahman, Jihaa Sham, and Maria Farida.
