SIBU: Renowned social activist, Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye donated copies of his biography titled “Call Lee Lam Thye – Recalling a Lifetime of Service” to Pusaka Negeri Sarawak here.

PNS Sibu regional manager Fairul Azli Banchit received nine copies of the book from Lee during a presentation ceremony held yesterday afternoon.

The book, written by Lee himself is available in three languages – Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin.

Fairul said as a long-time advocate for literacy and education, Lee’s contribution to the state library’s collection is a significant initiative towards promoting knowledge and enhancing the library’s readership.

“PNS was established under the Sarawak State Library Ordinance to promote reading habits and provide access to information resources to the people of Sarawak.

“With Lee’s generous book donation, we are now able to add to our extensive range of materials, allowing us to expand our collections and give our community greater learning opportunities,” he said.
