KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg yesterday received a courtesy visit from Dr Beh Swan Gin, permanent secretary for development in the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) Singapore.
Dr Beh said the visit was his first to a Sarawak leader since he was appointed as MTI permanent secretary for development on May 1.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Premier who was willing to spend time and exchange views in the form of cooperation to further strengthen the relationship between Singapore and Sarawak, especially in the field of trade and industry,” he said.
