SEE Chee How has commended the remarkable patriotic spirit and unwavering dedication displayed by Sarawakians in driving the implementation of the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030).
Aligned with the vision of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, the Batu Lintang assemblyman highlighted the Premier’s resolute determination to lead Sarawak towards achieving developed state status by 2030.
“The Premier has set his sights even higher, aiming for Sarawak to be the first legacy capital in Malaysia and Borneo.”
See acknowledged the Premier’s noble leadership, emphasising the importance of leaving a positive impact for future generations by building upon Sarawak’s rich cultural and traditional legacies inherited from past leaders.
“The focus on climate action and cultural heritage during World Heritage Day 2023 strongly resonates with the Premier’s vision.
“Under the Premier’s guidance, Sarawak is expected to play a significant role in global climate action and the preservation of cultural heritage.”
See suggested re-submitting a nomination for Gunung Mulu National Park to be inscribed as a world heritage site, “with an emphasis on adding Selection Criteria (v) to recognise its cultural value.”
He believed that achieving this recognition would have a phenomenal legacy impact in terms of climate action and cultural heritage preservation, solidifying Sarawak’s position as a key player in global efforts.
