KKM Detects Scheduled Poison in Cosmetics Product

The National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) of the Health Ministry has issued a warning urging the general public to avoid purchasing and using Clemira Care Cream, a cosmetic product that has been found to contain the scheduled poison miconazole.

The Pharmaceutical Services senior director of the ministry has taken action to cancel the product, prohibiting its sale in Malaysia.

The sale and distribution of this cosmetic product are in violation of the Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations of 1984.

Individuals who are currently using this product are strongly advised to discontinue its usage immediately.
