BAU: Mas Gading Community College’s (KKMG) General Studies Unit under the Islamic Education Course organised an educational visit to the Syariah Court of Kuching and the Department of Islamic Affairs Sarawak (JAIS) last Wednesday.

KKMG, in a statement today, said the visit significantly enhanced the students’ learning by immersing them in real-life situations, particularly in cultivating their career interests, making the learning process more engaging and effective.

“Real-life experiences during the visit serve as a guiding force for students in shaping their aspirations for adulthood.

“Early career awareness plays a significant role in influencing self-concept, values, well-being, and identity formation. Experiential learning is essential for students to streamline this process,” it added.

KKMG director, Shirley Philip said the visit allowed for collaboration between the college with the Syariah Court and Department of Islamic Affairs Sarawak to be established and work together for future community programme planning.

This visit programme was organised to provide exposure and experience to students regarding the process of marriage and divorce in Islam.
