The Domestic Trade and Costs of Living Ministry (KPDN) has reminded traders not to impose any conditions for the purchase of controlled goods.

Conditional purchases refer to imposing requirements on consumers to buy other grocery items before being allowed to purchase controlled goods such as cooking oil, flour, and sugar.

Any traders who fail to comply may face legal action under the Supply Control Act 1961.
