PUSA: The approval of several development projects by the Premier is a shot-in-the-arm for efforts to bring about more growth in the district.
Batang Lupar MP Mohamad Shafizan Kepli, in acknowledging this, said to transform the Pusa landscape, basic things must be seen to first.
“I am grateful that the proposed 3.5 kilometre Jalan Lingkaran Luar Pusa was approved by Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg with an allocation of RM50 million.
“I see this new development as being very important for the growth of Pusa as it will otherwise be difficult to develop the town as it gets more and more crowded.
“I sincerely hope the state government can complete this project as soon as possible, together with developing an office with a sustainable administrative complex equipped with the latest information technology (IT) facilities,” he said.
He disclosed that he and Beting Maro assemblyman Razaili Gapor have a more comprehensive development master plan for the district.
“But we are working on it step by step because a lot is being planned to ensure the district can be completely transformed,” he said.
