MIRI: The Sarawak government, through the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR), has provided a grant of RM200,000 to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) St Columba Miri for this year.

The announcement was made by Deputy Minister in the Premier of Sarawak’s Department (Labour, Immigration, and Project Monitoring) Datuk Gerawat Gala during the school’s Teacher’s Day dinner gathering here on Saturday night.

He said that the grant aims to cover the school’s operational costs and other expenses.

During the event, Gerawat also pledged an allocation of RM10,000 to the school’s Parents-Teacher Association (PTA).

Also present were PTA chairman Jude Juda, Francis Awos, senior teacher representing the headmistress, Eno Liau, as well as around 20 teachers and pupils.
