BELADIN: Apart from providing high quality early childhood education to the children, SeDIDIK is also working hard to get parents involved in every programme at the kindergarten.
“Some of the programmes that we have organised include the healthy eating programme at Hulu Beladin SeDIDIK kindergarten.
“Parents learnt about healthy food intake and the demonstrations included preparing healthy menu like banana smoothies and egg sandwiches.
“There were also healthy food and drinks competitions.
“At Beladin Tengah SeDIDIK kindergarten, we had Hari Pemuafakatan where the parents discussed with teachers their children’s recent development and achievements while sharing their ideas for improvement,” said a SeDIDIK spokeswoman.
At Taman Sri Jaya SeDIDIK kindergarten, she said parents took part in a ‘gotong royong’ (mutual assist) programme to help clean the premises and make it livelier than ever.
At Debak SeDIDIK kindergarten, the parents learnt about fire safety and how to help fire victms.
“Through the ‘Saya Sedia Membantu’ programme, we asked
for donations in the form of dried food and distributed them to the fire victims in Kampung Babu.
“This activity has nurtured the spirit of togetherness, being helpful and responsible and sharing blessings with the unfortunate ones,” she added.
