The programme took place at the Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (POLISAS) in Kuantan, Pahang.
According to a statement from PMU, the Nana Chili Sauce project is a collaboration with the Community Rehabilitation Centre for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Gemilang Jepak, Bintulu. The aim is to help the PWD community by providing them with training in sauce production.
The PMU students will guide them so that they can make the sauce independently. The marketing and management of the project will be handled by the PMU students.
The statement said the project is also supervised by mentors from the Department of Trade, Ahmad Nabil Ahmad and Ahmad Syakir Kadimin.
The judges were impressed with this project, and the PMU Chili House Ventures received a financial contribution of RM1,000 from PKT Logistic Group Sdn Bhd to support the continuation of the social enterprise project.
