MIRI: A blood donation drive held by 10 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) here in conjunction with Sarawak’ s 60th anniversary of independence has successfully garnered 191 donors today.
These 10 NGOs included Miri Red Crescent Blood Donor Recruitment Committee, Thai Poo Association Youth Section, Miri Hakka Youth Section, Chiang Hsia Huan Clan Youth Association, Kwong Wai Siew Miri Youth Association, Ying Yong Cheng Clan Youth Association, Mirifm Social Club, Miri Blood Bank and Miri Hospital.
The blood drive, which saw 191 people donating blood, was held at the Malaysian Red Crescent Miri branch at Bulan Jalan Sabit here.
