KUCHING: Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) will be carrying a full-scale exercise on “An Act of Aggression” at the Kuching International Airport from 8am to 5pm today (Dec 6).
Organised in collaboration with National Security Council (MKN), it is part of Malaysia Airports’ initiative to enhance the alertness of the airport in the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP).
The exercise will showcase the collaborative efforts by MAHB with various government agencies in designing and organising the various types of Act of Aggression scenarios via theoretical and activity sessions.
“The full-scale exercise will display the safety and evacuation procedures in an event that an airport encounters an emergency,” said MAHB in a statement issued yesterday.
Three different scenarios of Act of Aggressions would be displayed during the one-day exercise.
