JBALB Sarawak has issued a notice of a water supply disruption in the Lawas district, starting from 10pm until 4am tonight (Aug 7).
The disruption will impact the entire area along Jalan Punang and Kuala Lawas.
The interruption is due to the ongoing refilling works of the main tank at the Gelugus Water Treatment Plant, which has been necessitated by a decline in raw water levels at Gaya Intake.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to conserve their water usage during this period of disruption and make necessary arrangements to ensure sufficient water supply for their needs.
