BETONG: In a bid to enhance camaraderie among medical professionals, the Sarawak Medical Club Branch (KPSC) in Betong recently held an inter-unit volleyball competition.

The event, held at the indoor court of SJKC Chung Hua Betong, was coordinated by the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s (KKM) KOSPEN WOW National Fitness Programme.

Participating were a total of six teams, and one of the standout teams was Mayau Ngeramak 2, composed of members from the Maternal and Child Health Clinic (KKIA), Betong Hospital.

Also making their presence felt were the teams Relax Aje (representing Betong Hospital), Debak Medic (Debak Health Clinic), and Pelempang Berasap (Mid Layar Health Clinic).

In the line-up were noteworthy teams like Sulu Ringat Enggai Nyaut Telipun from Betong Dental, and the Last Minute Team comprising staff from Betong Hospital’s Emergency and Trauma Unit.

The atmosphere during the event was characterised by a relaxed and congenial ambiance, facilitating the smooth flow of the programme.
