MIRI: A car driver and six of his family members including three children sustained minor injuries when the car they were travelling in was involved in a collision with another car at Jalan Nakhoda Gampar here at 8.30am yesterday.
The driver of the other car was unharmed. Prior to the collision, the family of seven was on their way to the open air market from Piasau while the other car was coming from the opposite direction. Following a distress call, a team from the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) was immediately dispatched to the scene. The six injured family members were later taken to Miri Hospital for treatment. The actual cause of the collision is not immediately known as investigation is on-going
