KUCHING: A 47-year-old housewife from Samajaya Apartment near here claimed in her police report that she was punched and kicked by her husband last Monday evening.
The woman added that it happened at about 10.30 pm last Monday when she tried to stop her husband from continuing beating their 5-year-old son with his hands.
Her husband’s act was witnessed by her father-in-law and sister-in-law.
She added that it was not the first time her husband has beaten her.
She lodged a report because she wanted the police to take action against her husband for domestic violence.
