TELANG USAN: The residents of Telang Usan District are encouraged to stay informed and equip themselves with the latest digital skills to keep up with urban communities and to progress in today’s digital age.

District officer Ezra Uda stressed the importance of acquiring digital skills to stay relevant and contribute to the community’s growth.

He highlighted the Grass Root Community Digitalisation programme held in Long Lama as an opportunity for individuals to enhance their knowledge and skills.

“The community can also gain the benefits of utilising the Digital Community Centre, which provides relevant facilities for learning and development in the digital realm.”

He expressed the need for rural residents to take advantage of digital platforms to promote local tourism, such as festivals, homestays, and traditional craft products, in order to attract more visitors to Telang Usan.

Ezra attended the closing ceremony of the Grass Root Community Digitalisation programme, where over 70 participants took part. The programme aimed to share progress updates on activities conducted among participants.
