MUKAH: The three-day State Level Dragon Dance, Lion Dance and Wushu Competition being held here will end on Aug 27.
“We can see the cooperation between all parties to make this competition a success,” said Mukah Division Deputy Resident Shafrie Saili at the launching of the event at Dewan Suarah.
Organising chairman Ho Ing Siong expressed his appreciation to all parties involved.
“This includes sponsors who have donated to help launch this competition.
“This programme certainly cannot be carried out if there is no help and support from all parties involved,” he said.
He also suggested visitors who have come here to take this opportunity to get to know the local traditions and culture.
Also present were Acting District Officer Mukah Peleadzman Ahip and Sarawak Dragon Dance, Lion Dance and Wushu Association Chairman Lee Kim Choo.
