RM500,000 allocation to improve Mambong rural homes

PADAWAN: A total of RM500,000 has been allocated for the Minor Rural Project – Sarawak Poor Home Improvement Project (MRP-PPRMS) for Phase 2 in Mambong constituency. 

Deputy Minister of Transport (Aviation and Roads) Datuk Dr Jerip Susil said that 30 houses have been approved for improvement works and expected to be carried out from this month to October. 

He said this during a draw voting session for Phase 2 MRP-PPRMS here, yesterday. 

Dr Jerip, who is also Mambong assemblyman, further called on the appointed contractor to adhere to the specified timeline for the improvement works. 

Also present were the Special Administrative Officer to Dr Jerip, Keron Mapus and Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) councillors Stephen Jatu and Felik Ngui.
