KOTA SAMARAHAN: Two drivers and a motorcyclist escaped with just injuries following a three-vehicle accident at Jalan Kampung Sindang today.
The accident happened in front of the Kampung Sindang mosque, involving a Nissan Almera, a Perodua Alza, and a motorcycle.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department said that firemen from the Kota Samarahan fire station were dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call around 9.10 am.
Upon arrival, the team confirmed that no one was trapped in their vehicles.
The Alza driver, who sustained injuries to his head and chest, was extricated from his car and transported to the Sarawak Heart Centre for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the other driver and the motorcyclist sustained only minor injuries.
The team performed flushing works at the scene to clear the road of oil spills and accident debris before concluding the operation.
