MIRI: Two houses in Kampung Padang Kerbau were destroyed in a fire yesterday morning.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
Both house owners were away in Brunei when the incident happened.
A team of firemen from Miri Sentral fire station was deployed to the scene after they received a distressed call on the incident at 12.55 am.
According to Miri Fire and Rescue Department, both houses were completely destroyed in the fire which was brought under control at 1.20 am.
Investigations are still ongoing to ascertain the actual cause of the incident.
