DALAT: Like other areas in the state, the Christmas mood is also very much felt in this progressive district of Dalat.
As usual, the presence of carolling groups on house-to-house visits of Christians is common during this period.
Among the villages in the district with Christians are Kampung Klid/Plajau, Kpg Medong, Kpg Kekan, Kpg Dalat Hilit, Kpg Baru, Kpg Baru China, Kpg Sg Ud, Kpg Tanam, Kpg Muara Kut and Kpg Balan.
The St. Bernard’s Church, also known as “Church by the River”, which is located near Dalat Bazaar and established more than 120 years ago, has been the physical manifestation of the long existence of Christianity in the area.
