KUCHING: The annual Chinese New Year Festive Sale 2019 to be organised by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) will be held at the Kenyalang Park Commercial Centre Mall from Jan 22 to Feb 4 next year.
The application forms for the stalls have been made available at MBKS One Stop Service Centre D, Lobby, Kuching South City Council (MBKS), Jalan Padungan here since Tuesday.
All applications forms are to be submitted to Counter D on or before 4pm on Jan 3. Late applications will not be entertained.
Fees to be charged are: Each stall of 4’X8’ RM110 for the public; RM60 per stall for the shop owner or tenant for the two spaces in front or beside their shops.
A total of 255 stalls are open for applications.
Chinese New Year Festive Sale 2019 organising chairman Councillor Mok Chung Ping said NGOs and lion dance groups are encouraged to do performances in front of the Kenyalang Park Cinema Complex during the event.
Booth owners are also encouraged to decorate their booths with “tang lung” (lanterns) to make the atmosphere more vibrant.
