SERIAN: Members of the Catholic Senior Citizens’ Fellowship (CSCF) of the St. Theresa’s Parish organised a pilgrimage tour to the central region of Sarawak.
The pilgrimage tour, from Oct 9 to 14 was arranged CSCF chairman Alphonsus Naming.
“The spiritual director of CSCF Reverend Father Raj was invited to guide the tour to celebrate Holy Mass at the respective church.
“The 31 members visited and celebrated Holy Mass at the Holy Family’s Church, Betong (Oct 10), St Francis Xavier’s Church, Kanowit (Oct 11), St Herbert’s Church (Oct 12), Mary Immaculate Conception’s Church, Kapit (Oct 13) and St Anthony’s Church, Sarikei (Oct 14),” CSCF said a press statement.
The team was also brought on a tour of various places such as Betong market, Tugu Getah, and Rose World Old Betong Town; Fort Emma, Chinese Temple and Market in Kanowit; Song waterfront and Song Express Terminal, Kapit Museum, and the old and new townships in Sarikei.
