Miri: The police have launched Operasi Kesan to search for a man suspected of involvement in damaging an automated teller machine (ATM) at a bank along Jalan Miri-Pujut.
Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said that the operation was launched following a report lodged by the bank manager regarding the the incident in which the ATM screen was damaged.
“We received a report on the incident from the bank manager on Sunday at around 5.27 pm,” he said.
The incident is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief.
