KUALA LUMPUR: Kampung Puak in Bau and Rumah Panjang Menyimbang near Julau are two interior locations in Sarawak where Starlink devices have been installed as a proof of concept (POC).

Starlink devices were installed in Kampung Puak on September 6 and AT Rumah Panjang Menyimbang on September 14
He made these remarks in a written response to Tanjong Manis Member of Parliament Ir Yusuf Abdul Wahab in the Dewan Rakyat (Parliament) yesterday.
Fahmi said the installation of these satellite devices was to address connectivity issues faced in areas with coverage problems, including schools, universities, and remote areas.
Earlier, Yusuf inquired whether the government would use the Starlink satellite internet service in Tanjong Manis.
