KUCHING: Some 24 individuals facing economic challenges in Kampung Seketi Lundu received food baskets to help alleviate their burdens.
Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan facilitated the distribution of the donation at Masjid Darul Ibadah, Kampung Seketi Lundu.
Alongside the food baskets, the recipients were also provided with rice packs by Santubong MP Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.
Following the handing over ceremony, Azizul also went to the Empowerment Sustainable Wellness programme organised by Islamic Welfare Organization of Malaysia (PERKIM) Lundu Branch and Women and Family Department (JWKS) Sarawak at the Mahligai Gading Lundu Multipurpose Hall yesterday (Nov 4).
After the programme, he went to visit and delivered a donation to the family of the late Daud Saharan in Kampung Sileng Melayu
