SERIAN: The Greater Kuching Development Coordination Agency (GKCDA) has allocated RM12mil for the development of Bung Sadung as an ecotourism attraction.

“Additionally, GKCDA has earmarked RM5mil for the construction of an agricultural road between Kampung Jenan and Kampung Kakeng.

“Both projects are expected to commence in 2024 or 2025, with supervision by the Serian District Council,” said Dr Simon Sinang Bada.

The Tebedu assemblyman made these remarks during a programme held in Kampung Plaman Nyabet here recently.

He said the development of the ecotourism and agriculture industry in the area will provide continuous benefits to the local residents.

Meanwhile, he approved funds for the upgrading of the riverbank in the SK All Saint Plaman Nyabet area and the paving of the Sungai Risong bridge.

An allocation of RM15,000 was approved for the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Plaman Nyebet, and a total of RM5,000 for the village’s Women’s Bureau.
