MIRI: A 51-year-old man died while playing badminton in a sports complex at Piasau Industrial area last night (Nov 22).
Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said they received a police report on the incident at 8.06 pm.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Miri Hospital.
“There were no visible injuries to his body and there were no signs of foul play.
“The case is being classified as sudden death and investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of death,” he said.
He advised those who have any information related to the case to channel them to the nearest police station.
