BAU: Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep told Mas Gading MP Mordi Bimol not to make a mountain out of a molehill but should instead focus more on how he could help the community.

Henry said this when referring to the accusation made by Mordi recently that he did not receive cooperation from Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) ADUNs in addressing local issues.

“His accusation is wrong and inaccurate,” he said in a press conference during the Christmas gathering at his residence, Bung Konis, Kampung Tanjong Bowang here yesterday.

He said that Mordi being the MP, and a politician chosen by the people and representing the federal government should not come out with such statement.

“To even say that village heads are not cooperating is also wrong. It is not logical because his aunt is one of the village heads in Bau,” he said.

He said that there are so many projects being cancelled in Bau since Pakatan Harapan (PH) government took over; in fact Mordi should focus on how to get the funds from the federal government to help the community in Bau.
