KUCHING: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak has allocated RM85,000 to SK Satria Jaya in a noteworthy move to enhance the school’s learning environment.

The funds will be utilised for the purchase of new tables and chairs, catering to the needs of half of the student population.

Michael Kong, special assistant to DAP Sarawak chairman Chong Chieng Jen, emphasised that the contribution would transform the educational landscape of SK Satria Jaya.

“SK Satria Jaya has consistently shown dedication to providing a nurturing and productive educational experience for its students.

“Hence, this contribution will facilitate the replacement of furniture, benefitting half of the student body and significantly elevating the overall learning atmosphere,” he said.

Kong stated that the partnership reflected the party’s shared vision to empower the next generation with the resources they needed for a brighter future.

In addition, the initiative also underscored DAP Sarawak’s dedication to foster educational growth and create a positive impact in the community.
