KUCHING: In a bid to ensure a hassle-free journey for travellers during the festive season, Road Transport Department (RTD) has initiated comprehensive monitoring operations at the Kuching Sentral Bus Terminal.
According to a statement from the chief enforcement officer Sapiah Putit, the ‘Ops Perayaan Christmas’, which commenced today, December 22, will run until December 28.
Sapiah said that the operation targets public service vehicles, private vehicles, and commercial vehicles.
She added that patrols will also be conducted along the main routes throughout Sarawak during this operation.
This is to ensure smooth traffic flow for vehicles returning home during the festive season and school holiday.
