KUCHING: Anticipation is running high as Kingdomcity Kuching gears up for its Christmas Day Service set to take place at the Pullman Hotel on Monday (Dec 25).
With expectations soaring, Pastor-in-charge Caleb Tamilselvam is optimistic about a record-breaking attendance.
He said the Christmas Day Service will start at 10am in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom and with 700 to 1,000 Christians expected to attend.
“We have decided this year to hold our Christmas Day Service in the Grand Ballroom of the Pullman Hotel, in the centre of Kuching City as we want to extend the invitation to everyone and anyone to come along and celebrate Christmas with us.
“The Christmas Day Service aims to be an inclusive event, designed for the entire family, complete with a Kids Programme catering to children between the ages of three to 12 years old,” he said in a statement.
Caleb said the service is free and will approximately be 90 minutes long, featuring an array of Christmas Carols, a lively play depicting The Nativity scene, performed by the Kingdomcity team, and a Christmas message intended to uplift spirits during this festive season.
He also said the theme for Kingdomcity’s Christmas celebration, ‘Hope is Here,’ stands as a poignant reminder of the hope that is much needed across the world.
“Christmas is the season to be reminded about the birth of Jesus Christ, a wonderful message of hope for all, as families, friends and foe gather to reconcile and reminisce,” he said.
