GEDONG: Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee recently praised the completion of the new Multipurpose Hall in Kampung Gayau Simpang Munggu Lalang as a symbol of the community’s unity and resilience.
The hall, funded under the 2020 Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) with an allocation of RM200,000, was initiated by former Batang Sadong MP Datuk Seri Nancy Syukri.
“The construction of this hall provides a comfortable venue for the residents to engage in various social activities, including talks, courses, and wedding receptions,” said Rodiyah during the hall’s official opening ceremony.
“Therefore, I hope such activities will help in increasing the spirit of cooperation among the local residents,” she added.
Rodiyah also shared her optimism about the hall’s potential to positively influence the social and economic development of the community.
