KUCHING: Sarawak’s professional boxer, Dealoniel Mcdelon Bong is ready to spring a surprise on Bangladeshi boxer Resatul Mahmud Sajin in a match that will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh on February 17.
The Sri Aman born boxer received an invitation to compete in the match.
Both boxers will clash in the Super Bantam Weight category (6 Rounds).
“I will go down face to face with the host boxer (Resatul Mahmud Sajin) on an invitation ticket,” said Mcdelon.
Mcdelon, who is better known as ‘Kilat Boy’, is determined to try to give his best performance in the match later.
He said that preparations for the match started last December and went smoothly.
“Hopefully I can use the opportunity from that match to create a surprise,” he said.
