KUCHING: Malaysian Red Crescent SJK Chung Hua No 5 in Kuching has organised a community service event, “We Care, We Love,” at the Sarawak Heart Centre, Kota Samarahan, in anticipation of the upcoming Chinese New Year.

According to a press release by Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin Chapter, the event, supported by the school’s senior assistant for co-curriculum Vun Huey Ni, and Malaysian Red Crescent Sarawak Chapter Disaster Management team chairman Chew Kim Soon, saw Red Crescent members distributing goodie bags to all the patients at the hospital.

“They give goodies bags to all the patients in the hospital. This activity is to show care and love to them,” the association said, on Sunday.

Meanwhile, SJK Chung Hua No 5 headmistress Chin Mui Ling expressed her gratitude to Supreme Consolidated Resources Berhad for sponsoring packet milk and extended appreciation to the teachers, parents, and students for their contributions, making the activity a success.
