KUCHING: The construction of a new 400-metre tar-sealed road will improve transportation in Kampung Goebilt.
Regarding the RM510,000 project, Demak Laut assemblyman Hazland Hipni said, “Residents of Kampung Goebilt, as well as those owning land nearby, will benefit from improved road access for home construction and everyday travel.”
Hazland recently witnessed the handover of the Kampung Goebilt road project, overseen by the Kuching North City Commission (DBKU), to the project contractor.
Also present were DBKU Infrastructure Services Department deputy director Faisal bin Adenan, DBKU Engineering Project Division chief Ng Lian Seng, Kampung Goebilt village chief Penghulu Ali Amit.
“Aligning with our current development strategies, there is a wave of substantial infrastructure improvements across various areas. This is not just about physical development but also about fostering socio-economic growth in these communities,” he said.
