KUCHING: Eden Damai Wellness uniquely combines traditional therapies with cutting-edge technologies, offering a distinctive wellness experience.

The centre’s opening was commended by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, who expressed hope that it would serve the community well.

Located in Damai Lagoon Resort, the centre introduces the innovative IDUNN Bath Hydrotherapy. This technique combines advanced Oxygen Therapy with a Personalised Oxygenation Delivery System (PODs) and ELO Oxygen drinking water, designed to enhance cellular oxygen supply.

With Sarawak’s recent acquisition of MASWings, Abang Johari is optimistic about the resort providing a tranquil experience for tourists, contributing to their overall relaxation and enjoyment.

“We are in the midst of acquiring an airline. This could potentially offer tourists a serene getaway at Damai, free from disturbances. They will also have access to the centre’s oxygenation services,” he said when officiating at the Eden Damai Wellness, Damai Lagoon Resort, Santubong today (Jan 20).

On the second day, a talk titled “Oxygen Therapy in the Reversal of Hypoxia” was delivered at the resort’s Puteri Ballroom.

The talk featured Associate Professor at the University of Humanitarian Medicine in Toronto, Professor Dr. Robert Lyons, who presented the novel PODS technology.

Dr. Ahmad Nadzri Datuk Mokhtar, Medical Director of Apollo Mens Wellness Centre, also shared insights on anti-ageing treatments, advocating a holistic well-being approach.

Further, Datuk Dr. Syed Abdul Aziz Syed Zin Benyahya, a medical consultant for ELO Water Malaysia, highlighted the cardiac health benefits of revolutionary oxygen therapy.

The event concluded with Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Aziz Husain urging collaboration among medical practitioners, spa therapists, and industry representatives to position Sarawak as a leading wellness destination.
