SIBU: The teachers of the Community Development Department (KEMAS)’s Tabika and Taska here have been commended for their exemplary role in fostering a high standard in the teaching profession.

Khairuddin Md Nasir, the State Director of KEMAS said this dedication is aimed at cultivating human capital that excels both academically and in personality development.

“All these successes would not have been achieved without the commitment and determination of the teachers in carrying out their duties with full trust and dedication,” he said during the appreciation ceremony for 281 children from 48 KEMAS centres at the Islamic Complex recently.

His text of speech was read by Sibu Division KEMAS officer Ami Fariza Mat Jusoh.

In a similar vein, Khairuddin extended his appreciation to the Voluntary Community Development Assistants (PPMS), who consistently collaborate with teachers in successfully executing their responsibilities.

“It is hoped that the good trust and cooperation between teachers and parents can continue in the future,” he added.

Also present were Kapitan So Teck Kee, representing the Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee, as the guest of honour.
