MUKAH: Members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tellian branch have been urged to continue serving the community.
In making this call, Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine said the party branch is responsible to channel information to the grassroots.
“We serve as a medium to convey the agenda and the initiatives of the Sarawak government and the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) to the people.
“At the grassroots level, we also need to engage with the community to identify issues and gather necessary information.
“It is our responsibility to find solutions together through the proper channels,” he said when chairing the party branch’s meeting in Tellian today (Jan 31).
Meanwhile, Royston said the meeting was crucial to deliberate on strategies as well as future plans for the Tellian constituency.
During the meeting, the branch’s main committee, the women wing and the youth wing presented their reports on their activities for the past year. Also discussed were future activities planned by the branch.
