KUCHING: Batu Kitang state assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang said he is not like Aziz Isa, DAP special assistant to Chong Chieng Jen, as he did not believe in rubbing salt into wounds.
Lo said Aziz had laughed at him that it was only 72 DAP members and not 200 members who joined Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) recently.
“If I were Aziz, I would feel very sad indeed if even one of my SUPP supporters were to abandon me. Whatever it is, I will assure that I will take care of the new SUPP members as I have promised them.”
He advised Aziz to be generous and sincere with the promise made to the people including all Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders.
“At this point in time, how many promises from the PH manifesto have been realised other than the 6 percent GST which has been changed to 10 percent SST?
“Sadly, all the prices of food items have increased. I would hope that Aziz, as a PH leader, will concentrate on helping the people instead of just talking,” he added.
A total of 72 former DAP and PKR members have joined SUPP recently, resulting in Aziz throwing insults at Lo.
