DEBAK, Betong: If you happened to visit Rumah Martin Gana, Ulu Rimas here last weekend and met Aming Ak Jimbai, 63, he would surprise you with a freak pineapple from among the pineapples he planted around his longhouse.
According to Aming, it was the first time he saw such a pineapple.
Although for the moment he has no intention to part with the freak fruit nonetheless he said if there is any buyer with a good offer he is willing to consider.
In Chinese culture, pineapple is a symbol of wealth, luck and good fortune.
