KUCHING: In response to the severe rainstorm last weekend, Hope Place Kuching, in collaboration with the Civil Defence Force (APM) and the Malaysian Volunteer Corps Department (RELA), has taken action to support individuals displaced by the flooding at various relief centres.

In a statement, Hope Place visited three flood centres in Taman Malihah, Stapok, and Kampung Sinar Budi.

The organisation had been proactive in providing over 100 flood victims with essential supplies, such as food and water, at these centres.

Furthermore, Hope Place extended its support to APM, RELA, and all the officers and volunteers who had been working relentlessly at the flood centres by distributing food items.

“Hot coffee and biscuits were handed out to those on shift duty,” it said.

Individuals seeking more information are encouraged to contact Hope Place at 082-505987.
