SIBU: Tiau Kiu Ung will head the Lions Club of Sibu Pahlawan (LCSP) for the 2024-2025 term.
According to a press release from the club, Tiau, formerly lst Vice-President was elected as the 26th President during the 26th Annual General Meeting held at a hotel here today.
The other Board of Directors comprise James Wong Ha Seng as 1st Vice President, Boston Ho Teck Howe (2nd Vice President), Dato Betty Wong Yieng (secretary) and Ngu Tai Hing (Treasurer).
Dixon Chiu Kuong Woo took the post of Membership Chairperson, Dato Jimmy Tie Hien Hwa (Lions Club International Foundation Coordinator), Tiong Chung Hia (Service Chairperson), Danny Hii Wei Kiong (Marketing & Communication Chairperson) and Benjamin Tian Chun Fatt (Tamer).
Pok Chee Hua, Jenny Sim Siew Chen, Johnnie Ling Jiak Hee and Mary Ong Mie Ngii were named as directors.
Additionally, Tiau has appointed Administrative Management Chairpersons and Projects Service Committee Chairpersons to assist in club administrative operations and running service projects.
The Committee Chairpersons of the Administrative Management are Jamie Tiew Yen Houng as Internal Auditor, Boston Ho Teck Howe (Constitution & By-laws), Ervina Ho Shuk Yee( E-Bulletin), Datin Angela Ng Lai Leng (Protocol), Councillor Kevin Lau Kor Jie (Protocol), Jamie Tiew Yen Houng (Leadership Development), Dato Jimmy Tie Hien Hwa (Leadership Development), Jacqueling Chong Chin Leng (Meeting & Convention), Anna Ting Hung Na (Activities), Kenneth Tiong Yong Bin (Activities), Ting Siew Hee (Women & Family), Tiong Mee Ngo (Women & Family), Clement Tie Yao Tong (Members Fellowship) and Wong Mee Ngo (Members Fellowship).
The Committee Chairpersons of the Project Service are Kong Tze Ling for International Relations, Sia Zhu Loong (International Relations), Malcom Hii (Community Service), Gilbert Lai (Community Service), Lim Lian Lian (Care to Single Mothers/Poor Families), Alex Kong (Care to Single Mothers/ Poor Families) and John Yee (Care to Single Mothers/ Poor Families).
