BAU: A driver and her passenger sustained injuries after their car skidded and crashed on the roadside in Kampung Duyoh last night (Mar 4).
Firefighters from Bau station were dispatched to the scene after being alerted to the accident at 10.52 pm.
Upon arrival, they found a woman trapped in the driver seat of the wrecked Perodua Myvi.
Extrication works were promptly carried out to free the victim. Meanwhile, her passenger, a man, was earlier rescued out of the car by passers-by.
Both injured victims were handed over to paramedics for initial treatment on-site before they are taken to the hospital.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
