MIRI: A foreign man is facing a death sentence for his involvement in drug trafficking, after police found and seized drugs weighing 92gm on him during a raid held on Saturday night here.
The seized drugs were valued at RM1,071.90.
Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed that the arrest was made around 9.10 pm. The suspect is currently being remanded for five days.
The seized drugs were Eramin 5 (1.30gm) and methamphetamine or MDMA (90.70gm).
The case is being investigated under Section 39B and Section 12 (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
