The evening began with congregational prayers of Maghrib, Isyak, and Tarawih, led by state chief imam Ustaz Datuk Mustapha Kamal Ahmad Fauzi.
The Head of State and wife joined over 300 worshippers, including officers and personnel from the Sarawak Islamic Department (JAIS), Sarawak Shariah Judiciary Department, Sarawak Mufti Department, and members of the Sarawak branch of the Malaysian Scouts Association for solemn prayers at the Astana mosque.
Also present were Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and the Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
